Intro

About me: I'm 23 years old.  Born in Washington state, grew up in Honolulu.  Currently living and working in NYC.  

What are my aspirations?  I truly have no idea, and I know I'm not the only one.  When I was young, I thought I wanted to be a veterinarian (this might be attributed to growing up on a farm and always having cats and dogs).  Then I decided in 7th grade that I didn't want to work that hard in school.  When I started college,  I thought I wanted to be a journalist.  That was until I realized that Journalism is a dying field, and in my experience,  the writing wasn't as thought-provoking or even challenging as I thought it would be.  I'm working towards an International Business degree.  It seems broad enough that I can do anything I want.  We'll see!

I love fashion, makeup, good food, technology, movies, television etc.  This does not make me an expert in any of these things, or even remotely style/current-savvy.  I'm just normal, but I think most of us are normal.  This blog is an attempt to share my discoveries with like-minded people.  If you're pretty sarcastic and use irony to be ironic, then I like you.
